Mission Possible

Our church wanted to have kids carry flags representing the areas where we have missionaries for Missions Sunday. Garyn was asked to carry a flag. We told them she had an authentic African skirt and her aunt and uncle were missionaries there and requested she get to carry an African flag. When we arrived several kids were holding small flags made out of construction paper. My heart sank as this is not what we had expected. Garyn was so cute in her African skirt, braclets and hair accesories that we were hoping for something more. However, when her name was called they handed her a BIG African flag (It is actually the KENYA flag; and she was so excited.) She was so proud and new her cousin Tori would be too.
